Relative Strength By Industry
Here are the top 10 industries in one week gains in the percentage of stocks in the relative strength range. As always, results with industries with 5 or fewer stocks should be taken with a grain of salt.
Here are the top 10 in the difference between the 4 week and 40 week averages. These will be the groups with the strongest short term uptrends.
Here is a new calculation, the difference between the 4 week and 40 week averages. these are groups that are currently stronger than their long term trends (the ones with positive numbers, that is). Not surprisingly, there aren't many.
I am currently working on a new version of the spreadsheet now that I have about a year's worth of data, that will hopefully do runnig calculations and alert me to changes in trend. I have not ETA on it as yet, as there are several bugs in it that I haven't worked out yet.
