Thursday Morning Update

We got yet another reversal off the opening, this time bearish. I don't know what caused the bullish gap up tp begin with (unemployment claims came in better than expected, but not by enough to be bullish about), but whatever it was was gone quickly. Leading sector XLP and XLV, lagging are XLI, XLK, and XLF. The Nasdaq and Russell 2000 are trailing, the Russell quite badly.  Oil is down, gold up, treasury yields are acting wierd again, the 10 year down big, the 30 year up a smidge.  It looks to me like 1180 is going to be the pivot point today, with a 9 point range on either side.

I have 202 new highs so far, with breakouts in RVSN, TDSC, SFLY, NEWP, LAD. LOGM, IDCC, and KEX. Repoorting last night were AKAM up 2.6%, ALGT up 7%, CAVM down 1.3%, RGR down 1.9%, TIS down 9.6%, and TYL down 7.5%. Scheduled to report this morning were AFAM up 4.5%, IVC down 1.3%,  KLAC down 2%, LANC up 0.2%, OCLR down 37%, PTEN down 3.8%, and TWI up 7%.
