Bank Body Count

The moment we all have been waiting for has arrived. Last year's total of 140 dead banks has been surpassed, thanks to four more down this week. They were:

- K Bank, Maryland
- Pierce Commercial Bank, Washington
- Western Commercial Bank, California
- First Vietnamese American Bank, California

Unfortunately, the story did not mention which one was seized first and second, so they will all share the prize for breaking last year's record. Sheila Bair has not yet thrown another Youtube party for the lucky winner.
