Earnings Growth Charts

This week I have only two stocks reporting, so only 2 graphs. We will be inundated in a couple of weeks, so it will be back to being insanely busy. On the graphs, in the top panel the red line is quarterly EPS growth rate, black is quarterly revenue growth rate. In the middle, the red line is quarterly EPS, green is quarterly revenue, black is price, and blue price relative to SPX. If the stock is reporting the end of a fiscal year, the large red bars are annual EPS. At the bottom the black bars are volume.

IGTE reported a quarter of decelerating growth, but has recently been in strong up trend after breaking out of a long base (the up trend isn't as vertical as it looks on a linear chart), and had another breakout on this report. This is one I really haven't been able to evaluate very well because of a large acquisition it made about a year ago, but now we able to see it's growth trend, which is starting to look pretty good. This is already extended from the prior base, and may make another one in the near future.

LNN has had a consistent and pretty strong 5 year growth trend, but price performance has been a little bit f a disappointment. It was in the middle of a base when it reported, and has now undercut the bottom of that base, so this has a lot of work to do before it will come on to the trading radar. his one has a lot of potential, but since 2008 has come nowhere near living up to it.
