Price Relative Scan

The price relative scan for Friday is uploaded here; there are two buy candidates listed in column O, with the scores in column P. Column Q has the stocks in 200 day price relative up trends, column R had the stocks being added to that list this week, and column S has the stocks coming off the list. There was lower turnover this week, with more deletions than additions.

This week's relative strength score scanning spreadsheet is here, and the updated historical data is here.

Here are the top 25 stocks that have hit the non breakout new highs list in the last 200 days. he stocks moving into the top 25 this week are highlighted in yellow, and last week's top 25 are on the right.

I am working on a major makeover of the price relative scan. While i think I am on the right track as far as picking out the stocks that have been strongest, the results of trying to find out which of those are most likely to continue to outperform has been mixed, at best. I have been saving quite a bit of data, and have begun to look at it: I am trying to find out which characteristics are common to the stocks which out perform the market over a decent period of time, if there are any. In the meantime I will continue what I have been doing.
