Thursday Morning Update

Yesterday the market failed to sustain the breakout, but managed to break out again going into the close, setting us up for another resistance level at 1773. We went right into it this morning, and are now getting rejected big time. There is plenty of support below us here, but if the down move picks up momentum, it can still do some damage. We have XLK amd XLV leading the sectors this morning, XLE and XLP are lagging. The Nasdaq is lagging slightly, the Russell 2000 is about even. I have oil anfd gold down, treasury yields down.

I have 155 new highs so far, with breakouts in GERN, WSTL, AWAY, KOP, DXCM, BR, and TREE. On the left are the reports from last night, on the right from this morning:
